Ekram is 11 years old and is in Standard 6 (6th grade) at Silverleaf Academy. At school, Maths is the best subject.

Ek Ram's parents work in a shop in their hometown of Bunju, a suburb of Dar-es-Salaam. Ek Ram and his family, which also includes his three siblings Osman, Ilham and Nasma, are from the Sambaa tribe.

He dreams of becoming a professional footballer, preferably for his favourite club, Young Africans, which is one of Tanzania’s – and Dar-es-Salaam’s – two best clubs. The other is called Simba – and the two clubs are a bit like FCK and Brøndby in Denmark.

Ek ram was spotted as a talented goalkeeper at the Chipkizi Cup football competition.

Terms of agreement for fixed contributions / sponsorships

When you choose to become a contributor/sponsor at Young Boys Academy, Tanzania, you enter into an agreement for a fixed contribution.

When you enter into an agreement to pay a fixed contribution, the agreement runs from the day you register as a fixed contributor until the end of the calendar month in which you terminate the agreement. Your contribution to, or sponsorship of, Young Boys Academy, Tanzania is a voluntary collaboration, which you can terminate in writing at info@youngboysacademy.com

If your sponsored child stops at the academy for one reason or another, the sponsorship will automatically continue with a new sponsored child, and you will of course be informed.

We would like to point out that there is no right of withdrawal for contributions or sponsorships that have already been made.
