Young Boys Academy aims to develop young boys in Tanzania through a combination of football training and academic education. We recruit boys aged 8-17 from all over Tanzania and offer them the chance to improve their skills both on the football pitch and in the classroom. Our approach focuses on giving them a solid foundation so they can contribute positively to their communities and choose a future as professional athletes or academics.

Our philosophy is simple: a holistic development of the boys, where we work on their body (football), mind (school) and spirit (character). We believe that a well-rounded individual has the best chance of success. Football training at the highest level is combined with a solid academic foundation, so that the boys are given the right tools to pursue their dreams, whether as professional players or academics.

Young Boys Academy offers academic sponsorship at reputable schools, where the boys have the opportunity to combine their football training with schooling. We work with some of the best schools in Tanzania, which provide the boys with a solid academic background. Whatever path they choose in the future, we are confident that their education and football skills will give them opportunities in life that they would not have otherwise had.

The boys at the Young Boys Academy have two primary options when they finish their time with us. They can choose to pursue a professional career in football, where they will have received the necessary training to compete at the highest level. Alternatively, they can choose to continue their academic education and attend university. Either way, they will have developed into strong, responsible young men who will act as role models for their communities and future generations in Tanzania.
