David is 10 years old and is in Standard 6 (6th grade) at Silverleaf Academy.

David was born and raised in Mwanza, Tanzania's second largest city, located 300-350 kilometers to the west - all the way to Lake Victoria.

David's father is an engineer and together with him David moved to Arusha in connection with his father's work (Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority). David's mother works in business. Both of David's parents are originally from the Sukuma tribe, which is one of the largest tribes, especially in the area around Lake Victoria and Serengeti.

David's favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo, but his favorite club is not a club Ronaldo has previously played for... it's the blues from Manchester - Manchester City.

David's dream, like all our boys', is to become a professional footballer, but he is also interested in what is happening in Tanzania, because his best subject at school is social studies/history.

Help us ensure David's 'two chances' to become a Tanzanian role model. Either with football – or education – as a platform. When you sponsor David, you sponsor the entire academy.

Terms of agreement for fixed contributions / sponsorships

When you choose to become a contributor/sponsor at Young Boys Academy, Tanzania, you enter into an agreement for a fixed contribution.

When you enter into an agreement to pay a fixed contribution, the agreement runs from the day you register as a fixed contributor until the end of the calendar month in which you terminate the agreement. Your contribution to, or sponsorship of, Young Boys Academy, Tanzania is a voluntary collaboration, which you can terminate in writing at info@youngboysacademy.com

If your sponsored child stops at the academy for one reason or another, the sponsorship will automatically continue with a new sponsored child, and you will of course be informed.

We would like to point out that there is no right of withdrawal for contributions or sponsorships that have already been made.
