SUPPORT MUSSA

Mussa is 10 years old and is in Standard 5 at Silverleaf Academy.

Mussa comes from Dar-es-Salaam, where his mother works in a hair salon and his father is a musician. You can see that when you see the movements in Mussa's hips.

The family is the Mkongo tribe, and Mussa's favorite team is one of Tanzania's two best teams, both from Dar es Salaam: Namely Simba. His favorite player is Mo Salah, and Mussa, like Salah, is also a small strong offensive player.

Mussa has three siblings: Lockman, Muruzna and Warda, and the whole family is keeping their fingers crossed that Mussa can become a professional footballer.

Mussa's best subject at school is Swahili. Hopefully it will be in English soon, because Mussa will need it more when he has to play football in Europe.

Help us secure Mussa's 'two chances' to become a Tanzanian role model. Either with football – or education – as a platform. When you sponsor Mussa, you sponsor the entire academy.

With the support of one of the academy's boys, you and your family automatically become members of the association. Read more about your membership below.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart

… but we also want to make role models!

Our boys will receive the best imaginable education in Tanzania, and that, combined with our academy's thoughts about the whole – holistic – person, means that we are sure that our boys will become great role models in the Tanzania of the future. Even if it might be with something other than football.
